I obtained my law degree from the Faculty of Law of ELTE and my economics degree from the Faculty of Economic and Social Sciences of the Budapest University of Technology and Economics. I later completed an LLM specialisation in economic criminal law at the ELTE Institute of Postgraduate Legal Studies. I spent my trainee lawyer years at the Bánáti Law Firm, one of Hungary’s most prestigious criminal law practices — this knowledge now serves the defence of my clients.
I have worked in criminal law for more than 20 years and have run my own independent law office for more than 10 years, focusing exclusively on criminal cases.
In every case, I develop an individual defence strategy tailored to the facts of the case, the client’s personal situation and long-term interests. Thanks to my advanced English and German language skills, I also provide full representation in cases with an international dimension.

Economic criminal cases
An economic criminal case is not merely a court hearing — the client’s reputation, business and liberty may all be at stake.
Economic offences — budget fraud, embezzlement, breach of trust, money laundering and insolvency-related offences — are highly complex matters that often involve lengthy investigations, extensive documentation and expert evidence. With my specialisation in economic criminal law, economics degree and experience in hundreds of such cases, I know where to look for the key to the defence.

In corruption cases, the first 48 hours are decisive — late legal intervention can have serious consequences.

Drug-related cases
Drug-related offences carry a wide range of penalties — the right defence strategy may mean acquittal or at least years less in punishment.
Drug-related offences range from use and possession to smuggling and the most serious forms of trafficking, and may carry prison sentences exceeding ten to fifteen years. My defence work focuses on ensuring that the actual conduct is classified under the mildest applicable offence and, where possible, on securing diversion or alternative procedures.

International criminal cases
If a case crosses national borders, the defence must also operate at an international level.
Cross-border criminal proceedings — European Arrest Warrants, extradition matters, recognition of foreign judgments and Interpol notices — require highly specialised legal knowledge. I am familiar with both the Hungarian and foreign aspects of EAW proceedings, and I communicate directly with foreign authorities in English and German.

First consultation
In a personal or telephone consultation, based on the information presented to me, I assess the circumstances of the case, outline the expected duration of the criminal proceedings and possible outcomes, and provide guidance on defence directions and risk factors.

Defence strategy
After obtaining and reviewing the case file, we work together to develop a defence strategy tailored to the case. We determine when the client should make a statement and when to exercise the right to remain silent.

Active representation
I attend every interrogation, hearing and procedural act where this serves my client’s interests. I continuously inform my clients about the status of the proceedings, any obstacles that arise and any statements that may become necessary.

Remedies
In the event of an unfavourable decision, I continue the defence through appeals and extraordinary remedies and, where necessary, represent clients before the European Court of Human Rights.

By car
The office is located on Szent István Boulevard, at the corner of Hegedűs Gyula Street. Before arrival, it is advisable to check current traffic and access conditions in the area. For parking, I recommend the underground garages of the NH Hotel and Westend Shopping Centre; parking in the surrounding streets is paid.
By public transport
By trams 2, 4 and 6, get off at Jászai Mari tér; by metro M3, get off at Nyugati railway station. The office is only a few minutes’ walk from these stops.
